DEATH DRAWING ROOM
Day of the Dead Life Drawing with Dusty Limits
on Wednesday the 1st November 2023 at 7:00 pm

Dr Sketchy London invites you to grab a pencil, grab a drink, and grab a seat for the most fun figure-drawing class in town, hosted by Evil Headmaster, multi-award-winning cabaret artist Dusty Limits, and featuring superstar models from the world of burlesque and cabaret. Our philosophy is simple: our classes are to fine art what karaoke is to singing. We reward boldness, imagination and whimsy. You don't need any previous drawing experience to have a brilliant time, and if you think 'oh no, I can't draw', come join us anyway. We'll dispel your inner critic and take you back to when you drew just for fun. We can all make art.

And there are prizes to be won!

We look forward to welcoming you to Dr Sketchy's Anti-Art School.

Tickets £12 including a 20% donation toward a host of restoration projects at Abney Park Cemetery.

Dusty Limits
Dusty Limits, also known as Dorian Black, is a singer, comic, actor, writer and one of the most celebrated figures on the 'new cabaret' scene. They perform everything from Cole Porter to Portishead, Tom Lehrer to Tom Waits, along with their own compelling original songs written with long-time collaborator Michael Roulston, which explore themes of mortality, addiction and the futility of love.

Dr Sketchy's Anti-Art School
Dr Sketchy's Anti-Art School was founded by world-renowned artist Molly Crabapple in 2005 in New York. She had a vision of a new kind of life-drawing class, and it's now spread around the globe, in over 100 locations. It's the world's premier alt.drawing movement.
