The Scientists and Inventors of Brompton Cemetery
A Guided Cemtery Tour with Laurence Scales
Sunday 23rd October 2022 at 11:00 am

From 1840, when the first grave was dug, the grim reaper has endowed Brompton Cemetery, London's strangest Royal Park, with a rich harvest of scientists and inventors who have changed our world from the discovery of a new element to the technology of everyday life. Our sepulchral sightseeing will include visits to the father of the drone and to a Victorian lady astronomer, while also affording distant but exotic views of scientific expeditions in 19th century India and China.

Tickets £12 including a 20% donation to Brompton Cemetery. Please click here to purchase.
